Hire a Bridesmaid
First of all, what does this bridesmaid service have to do with dogs? Nothing at all! We started working in the wedding industry as wedding pet attendants and noticed the need for a different kind of service. Plus, we discovered our passion for the wedding world.
At times, we noticed that brides were highly stressed out while their MOH/bridesmaids were distracted. We also felt their stress before the wedding day having to almost beg their bridesmaids to pick up dresses, show up at appointments, listen and support them. So, even though we were hired only for their pets, we ended up doing bridesmaid/MOH work solving problems last minute. Helping the bride with her dress, emergency sewing garments, distracting problematic guests, providing emotional support and more simply because we wanted them happy.
Additionally, sometimes brides have no family near them, their friends are busy or simply have nobody to share this experience with while also receiving the support they deserve.
This is heartbreaking, but we love weddings, helping couples, working at events and we’re great working under pressure with quick thinking for problem solving.
To make life easier and happier for our lovely clients, we now offer the first professional bridesmaid service in Colorado! We want to cover these needs and help you have the wedding of your dreams without any added stress. You deserve to enjoy this journey!
Here are some of our wedding services:
Before the wedding:
- Emotional support: we will be your shoulder to lean on, to remind you about what matters, to help you make decisions, to listen to you when you just need to vent, to make you laugh while you cry. We’ll be your unconditional friend/bridesmaid.
- Fashion assistance: need a friend to go dress shopping? Jewelry? Suits? Shoes? We loooove shopping and fashion; and would love even more to be with you sharing such special moments.
- Helping hand with physical tasks: if you’re DIYing some items and want company/a helper, if you need something to get picked up and taken elsewhere, if you need someone to come to a catering tasting with you. All the many little tasks that become so overwhelming because you need to make sure they get done. Not a problem when you have a pro bridesmaid.
- Helping hand with digital tasks: sending out invitations, advice on what to include in the invites, website, registry, etc., finalizing RSVPs, sending texts making sure other bridesmaids and members of the wedding party have done what they need to do, etc.
- Vows: we can assist you writing your vows.
- Photos/videos: if you love digital memories, we’ll be the designated paparazzis capturing as many moments as possible before the wedding with our phone.
- Planning of surprises: whether it is for the bride, the groom, the other bridesmaids or other family members, anyone in the family can contact us to help facilitate surprises that will make the experience even more epic for everyone.
- Reading contracts from other vendors: we are fairly experienced reading contracts and can assist you with advice if you’re in doubt at any point.
- Confidentiality and discreetness: we will only interact with whomever you authorize in advance and will do so according to your instructions. This includes family and vendors. This policy is in place in order to protect our brides when they don’t want others knowing we are a hired bridesmaid.
On your wedding day:
- Peace of mind knowing that you’ll have someone professional and caring there for you at all times moving heaven and earth just to make your wedding day everything you dreamed of.
- Assistance getting dressed.
- Basic day-of coordination: we’ll help organize the wedding party, assist the wedding coordinator (if you have one) with timelines and last minute details.
- Guest aid: we’ll interact with the guests and help them feel comfortable having the best possible time.
- Uncomfortable situations: you may want to change something or tell someone something uncomfortable that you absolutely dread. We will handle as many uncomfortable situations for you as we can with the utmost professionalism so you don’t have to. We also prefer it if other bridesmaids, guests and vendors come to us with simple-medium problems before going you. This way we can take care of them without you even knowing. Or at least we can digest the information to give it to you in a kind way.
- Help going to the bathroom: yup! Many forget about this huge matter. It’s not very easy to go when you’re wearing the most glorious dress that you also want to keep clean and dry. We will hold it up for you while looking away.
- Constantly ready to run and get any needed supply that we don’t already have on us.
- We will remember how important it is to stay hydrated and will make sure you have water readily available (as well as other drinks, snacks or medication that you request).
- Carrying of supplies: at times things are needed and there’s no time to run to the other side of the venue to get them. We’re happy to carry a bag of your desired supplies all day long everywhere you go.
- Permanent shadowing (unless you request that we go elsewhere) to make sure you can ask for anything at any point and know someone is immediately on it.
- If you want to add it to your package, we can give a maid of honor/bridesmaid speech.
- Basic makeup & hair touch-ups if you wish throughout the day with your own products.
- Assistance to the photographer/videographer for whatever is needed in order to get the best possible shots.
After the wedding:
- Basic organizing/pick-up: we will help with basic pick up, pack up and organizing when the wedding ends. Examples include: gathering your belongings from the bridal/bridesmaid suite, carrying gifts to the car, etc.
- Thank you cards: let us help you make all of those thank you cards for your loved ones who helped make your day even more memorable.
FAQs:
How does it work? Won't it be weird to have a stranger there?
Not at all! Not only we will meet you in advance, but if you don’t want people to know you hired us, we will come up with a story together about how we know each other. We will be very discreet about our situation according to your wishes and not even other vendors need to know. If you wish and tell us in advance, we also won’t be posting any photos related to your wedding on our social media for maximum confidentiality.
Why hire you as Bridesmaid/Maid of Honor instead of just having anyone do it?
- We constantly see how family and friends try to push couples into making the wedding what they think it should be. Not us! We are here to help you make your wedding what YOU want it to be. We will listen to you and work based on what you want. Not what we think you should want. This way, your vision will truly come to life.
- Weddings can be very stressful and a lot of people crash under the pressure. We thrive working under pressure and love the behind-the-scenes of event planning, logistics and more. This also allows your family and friends to enjoy the day and the planning instead of stressing out.
- We are quick thinkers with lots of initiative. We don’t need someone constantly telling us what to do for us to realize it needs to get done.
- We are multilingual: fluent in English and Spanish. We also know basic ASL, French and Russian.
- As positive animal trainers, we’re extremely patient, kind and positive with extensive experience in conflict resolution, diffusing stressful and even dangerous situations with humans. We’re professionally trained to help others manage stress and anxiety.
- Lengthy experience of 16+ years in event planning, psychology, management, customer service, international logistics and more. Weddings always have a lot of unexpected issues. A lot of those won’t be surprising to us and we will be able to solve them, at times, even without you knowing at all.
- We love weddings and looking fabulous! Some jobs can’t be done without having true passion. This is 100% one of them. High standards are a must to us who live by the motto “if you do it, do it right!”, so you can count on us being as dedicated as your best friend (or more!)
- We do not smoke or use drugs. We don’t mind others consuming legal substances, but you can count on us smelling fresh and remaining sober the entire time.
I already have a coordinator. Why do I need a professional bridesmaid?
Coordinator/planners focus on the general, more objective, logistics of the event. A professional bridesmaid will be your friend providing personal support way beyond the more objective roles of a coordinator. A professional bridesmaid will be the one holding your dress while you go to the bathroom, laying on the ground or getting wet just so that you get that special photo that you wanted, she will hold you while you cry, she will distract your drunk aunt to avoid a scene, she will be your bestie living the day for you and nobody else.
Will you plan my wedding for me?
Remember we’re here as your bridesmaid/Maid of Honor/guest. People with these roles don’t plan an entire wedding. They’re there to support you through the process, help you make decisions, perform small specific tasks, etc. We can, though, be in contact with your planner/coordinator and other vendors that you have already hired and signed contracts with. That way you have more free time to focus on enjoying your engagement.
My wedding is not in Colorado. Will you be able to attend?
Absolutely! We’re able to travel nationally and internationally. Being multilingual definitely comes in handy during international trips and we can be your personal translators for added comfort and safety.
What is not included?
- Outfits & accessories: if you need us to wear something specific, you have to provide it (we can return all accessories/outfits after the wedding if you want. Overall sizes S-M).
- Hair, makeup & nails: same as above. Otherwise, we can do our own in basic ways.
- Food & drinks: if we’re staying after the ceremony, you also have to provide us with food and drinks like every other guest. We will, of course, avoid drinking alcohol while working except for when appropriate during a toast and such to blend in.
- If the wedding or other event that you want us to attend is 2h+ away from Denver (Colorado, 80224) by car, you must also provide appropriate lodging for as many nights as needed. For these events we will not drive in the morning before 7 a.m. except to go to the airport or at night after 6:30 p.m.. Airfare will also be required when needed.
- Gifts & other expenses usually pertaining to bridesmaids/MOH.
- Cleaning of bodily fluids or other questionable substances.
- Cleaning after the wedding or handling of large/dangerous equipment.
- Anything not specifically included in the contract that we will send you before booking.
How much is it?
In order to save our couples as much money as possible, our packages are completely customized. Once you tell us exactly which services you want, we will provide you with a quote. For general reference, here are some base costs:
- Bridesmaid/Maid of Honor only during day-of: packages start at ~$400 + transportation
- Bridesmaid/Maid of Honor before + day-of: packages start at ~$800 + transportation
- Guest (no responsibilities other than showing up on time and enjoying the wedding until the end): $100 + transportation.
- Consultation: $120 at Garland Park or virtual. In-home cost will be determined when we get your exact address.
Book easily:
Except for basic guest services, we require an initial consultation in order to get to know you, determine the best plan for you and answer any questions you may have.
After the consultation and before booking the service, we will send you a contract including your customized package, details of the services included, conditions and more for your consideration.
For everyone’s safety and to avoid confusion, all negotiations and foundational matters will be handled through email. Once the service is booked, we can, of course, communicate through text and/or phone calls.
